LACHLAN THE BRAY

“The four San Francisco stories that unfold in monologue in Red Lips Woman Productions’ “Life on Hiatus” have the economy and the lyricism of poetry.” Lily Janiak - San Francisco Chronicle

Lachlan the Bray hails from Australia but now calls San Francisco home. At the age of 18, Lachlan was selected to take part in the Sydney Theatre Company's, Young Playwrights Residency.  Off the back of this he successfully wrote and produced a musical comedy, Rivertown, which toured throughout regional communities on the east coast of Australia.

Lachlan's writing shifted towards performance poetry in 2012 when he competed, and was a finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam.  Since then he has continued to write, produce and perform shows both back in Australia and San Francisco. He has just finished his new show, 'Sex, Cynicism and Other Small Miracles," and is working on touring it throughout the Bay Area.
